A pattern may look exceptional within one folder yet be common in a sector. Ariadna aims to put comparisons in context: similar organisations, known coverage and sufficient data to explain why something warrants attention. Rarity is a reason to look more closely, not a label for a person.
What the system contributes
Patterns are compared against groups of similar organizations and expressed in understandable bands together with population size and coverage. An atypical configuration does not automatically become a conclusion: it triggers review of alternative explanations and evidence quality.
A comparison open to challenge
The size of the reference group and the quality of its records matter. If many organisations have missing data, the result may reflect that absence rather than unusual behaviour. Investigators should be able to examine the comparison and question whether the chosen group actually fits the issue being studied.
Prioritise without judging guilt
Practical value lies in organising review and forming more specific questions. An unusual case may have a simple explanation; a common pattern may still need investigation for other reasons. Ariadna does not turn a statistical band into guilt or replace documentary examination with a label that sounds final.
