What is Mayéutica?+
It is an educational system for students that teaches reasoning and the responsible, critical use of artificial intelligence.
Does it give the student the final answer?+
No. Mathematics is worked through questions and rescue steps. The final result remains outside the valid output space.
What is the contradictor?+
A machine that during the logic step may agree or disagree with the student and may be right or wrong. Students know those rules from the beginning and the case is always revealed at the end.
Can the student consult another AI?+
Yes. The student may consult the tool they use, but must explain the problem in their own words. On returning, the student types what the other system said and decides whether it holds up.
How can the teacher know what the student did?+
The session preserves decisions, answers, difficulties, rescue steps, timing and external consultations. A verifiable code allows the complete path to be reviewed.
Does Mayéutica rank or profile students?+
No. It records observed facts and shows each student their own progress without rankings, diagnoses or personal labels.
Does every student receive the same task?+
Yes. The situation selected by the teacher is frozen for the class. Questions and arguments remain the same; what changes is how many rescue steps each student needs.
Why use AI instead of banning it?+
Because AI is already part of how students learn. Mayéutica focuses on a concrete skill: evaluating what a machine says and making an independent, reasoned decision.
