Argos Home uses ARGOS AIE, Ambient Intelligence Engine, as its core to normalize heterogeneous signals, maintain an operational model of the environment, form hypotheses, select protocols, coordinate authorized actions and verify effects.
Adapters at the edge.
External devices and systems integrate through adapters. Product logic works with internal capabilities rather than a manufacturer’s particular semantics.
State, context and uncertainty.
The engine separates observations, inferences and missing information. Loss of coverage is not silently replaced by an assumption.
Permission levels.
Observing, remembering, recommending and acting are separable capabilities. Policies can restrict actions by device, person, situation and criticality.
Local processing.
The design allows sensitive functions and private context to remain inside the property. External integrations are added explicitly when they provide a necessary capability.
Post-action verification.
The cycle does not end when a command is issued. When evidence is available, the environment is observed again to determine whether the expected effect actually happened.
