An anomaly has a surrounding history
A pressure change may mean something different alongside temperature, flow or equipment state. The Oil & Gas application brings authorised signals and background together to help teams examine explanations. It does not replace instruments or the barriers governing operations.
What the system contributes
Non-intrusive reading of pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, alarms, equipment state and historical events. CASANDRA expands patterns and candidates; METIS confronts rival explanations; CERBERUS verifies what the evidence supports. Operation starts in advisory mode outside the control loop.
Consider more than one hypothesis
The architecture develops candidates, challenges them and checks their support. Correlation alone does not establish a cause. Insufficient information remains visible so the next review can target evidence that might distinguish alternatives.
Begin by observing
Initial scope is advisory and outside the control loop. Data access, frequency, quality and acceptance criteria are reviewed with operations teams. The system can support inspection or analysis decisions, but does not autonomously authorise manoeuvres or guarantee anticipation of every failure in a complex process.
