Choose a journey such as access or a shared-space workflow and verify it end to end. Further functions follow checks of data, communication and human response. The proposal organises existing operations rather than imposing one model on every community.

The design prioritizes local processing, role-based access and retention defined by the community. The community needs to know what is recorded, where processing occurs and how authorised alerts are sent. External communication belongs in agreed scope. Local AI is not a guarantee of anonymity; handling must remain limited, inspectable and aligned with organisational responsibilities.

The architecture aims to connect access, cameras, sensors and existing systems through adapters and explicit rules. Security staff need a procedure for missing sources or interrupted intelligence. Essential controls and manual operation retain a defined path. Acceptance includes failures alongside normal arrivals, visitors and exceptions, checking recovery without invented confirmations.
