Environmental context for daily support
ARGOS AIE supplies signal interpretation and local context; Argos Care organises support situations, contacts and rules. Presence, movement and environmental conditions are included only when available and authorised. An inference is not a clinical measurement: architecture preserves that distinction and shows the evidence behind each notification.
What the system contributes
The engine separates perception, state, hypotheses, protocols, authorized actions and verification. Models are replaceable components inside an architecture governed by rules and human authority.
First agree what support means
The person, family and carers define the situations to observe and who should receive notifications. Relevant devices are selected without assuming every room needs a camera. Events and context are related within that scope. Configuration distinguishes comfort preferences, signals requiring enquiry and situations that belong directly with human assistance.
A notification also needs a response
Sending a family notification does not prove it was read or that the person is well. The workflow shows its state and follows available escalation rules. A silent sensor is reported as a limitation rather than interpreted as normality. Testing includes those cases and the manual procedure for continuing.
Test against the actual routine
Review normal situations, expected changes, alerts to disregard and circumstances needing a check. Evaluation involves users and carers, including sensor or communication loss. Argos Care does not replace medical care, carers or emergency services. Success means useful, understandable assistance, not a promise to detect every incident.
