An answer that moves the request forward
Customers do not write to test whether a bot can converse. They need to check a booking, explain a problem or find someone who can help. Gustave H. is designed around that purpose. Conversation should connect to authorised information and tools rather than end with a friendly message that changes nothing.
What the system contributes
Gustave H. is not designed as an isolated chatbot. A conversation can consult authorized context, record information, update systems, schedule, escalate and hand off to a person when the situation leaves its domain.
Context prevents starting again
Where scope permits, the agent consults relevant history and records changes during the exchange. It can prepare an action or transfer enough context for a person to avoid repeating every question. Value lies in continuity and the quality of the next step.
Define what it can actually do
Each implementation identifies frequent requests, available sources and permitted actions. An unconnected calendar cannot become a confirmed booking. When information is missing or a tool fails, the system should explain the limitation and follow the agreed fallback. Fluent answers are not a promise to solve every request.
