What the system contributes
The system can notify, light an area, close an access or escalate a situation according to defined permissions. Higher-consequence actions can require human confirmation.

Protocols belong to the organisation
Notifying a person, requesting confirmation and operating a device are different actions with explicit conditions. Suspicion does not authorise an intrusive measure, and automated responses must not bypass authority over access or emergencies.
Complete the journey with confirmation
Where signals exist, the system distinguishes a sent notification, receipt and confirmed action. Failures leave uncertainty visible and use the agreed escalation path. Tests include false alerts, incomplete information and absent responses so the installation does not depend only on ideal cases.
