The AIE engine combines signals and policies; Argos Energy defines consumption and comfort scope. Meter, climate and device connections require compatibility and validation. Apparent reduction opportunities do not authorise critical-system changes.
What the system contributes
The engine separates perception, state, hypotheses, protocols, authorized actions and verification. Models are replaceable components inside an architecture governed by rules and human authority.
Relate measurements to space use
Available consumption, occupancy and environmental sources are reviewed. Configuration specifies adjustable equipment and permitted ranges. Estimated values and missing signals remain visible before actions are authorised or consumption changes interpreted.
Compare against a valid baseline
Evaluation uses comparable periods and conditions. Weather, occupancy and activity changes may explain some variation. Records support review rather than automatically claiming every reduction. Users retain manual controls and priorities the system must respect.
Test reversible adjustments before expansion
Initial evaluation may only observe and propose. Permitted actions, effects and manual return are then tested, including missing data or unresponsive devices. Site evidence determines the next stage rather than generic savings estimates.
